A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US

Green Mountain Falls is an incredibly special with a rich history. The Midland Railroad ran its tracks through Green Mountain Falls in 1888, as a stop going through different mining towns. With this knowledge, W.J. Foster bought the valley for his summer resort and named the area Green Mountain Falls. That same year the lake was excavated, and the gazebo was built. This brought tourists from all over the country, instantly making it a desired summer vacation destination. To this day, people love to visit our town. It is a little less known, making it a hidden gem in the Rocky Mountains. The Lakeside cottages built its first cabin in 1924.
