GREEN MOUNTAIN FALLS

Our cozy town surrounds a charming lake and gazebo. The Gazebo and lake were man-made in 1888. It was created as a scenic attraction for visitors arriving by train. To this day, tourists love and appreciate its beauty.

Along with the fantastic views, enjoy the scenic hiking trails. GMF is also known for the famous breakfast spot called The Pantry. Don't forget to check out the Blue Moose bar and grill. Enjoy live music and karaoke on the weekends. If you want more fine dining check out the Mucky Ducky.

PIKES PEAK

Pikes Peak, called America’s Mountain inspired Katharine Lee Bates “America the Beautiful” poem. You can enjoy these breathtaking views in many ways. Some of our favorites would be hiking, biking, driving up to the summit, or taking the Cog Railroad.
(15 minutes from Green Mountain Falls)

MANITOU SPRINGS

In 1820 Dr. Edwin James was the first to “discover” the health-giving mineral waters, There are many springs throughout the town where you can taste the healing water. These waters are also available to soak in  

at the Sun Water Spa. Along with its rich history, you can enjoy many shops, restaurants, and even a penny arcade.

THE INCLINE

Want to challenge yourself physically? The Incline is used for conditioning for Olympians and elite athletes. The base of the Incline sits at 6,600 feet and the trail climbs 2,011 feet over 0.88  of a mile.

GARDEN OF THE GODS

 Garden of the Gods is an absolute must-see! This park is a  National Natural Landmark. Enjoy the breathtaking towering sandstone rock formations.  Garden of the Gods was created during a geological upheaval along a  natural fault line millions of years ago creating these marvelous formations. There are so many ways to enjoy the garden. Take a driving through, hiking, biking, even rock climb, you won't be disappointed!

CAVE OF THE WINDS

Cave of the Winds was discovered in 1881, The Apache’s believed the cave was home to the great spirit of the wind, later named Cave of the winds. It stands at 7,000 feet, making it the highest cave in the US! It offers interactive adventures including the  Wind Walker Challenge Course, Terror-Dactyl, and Via Ferrata.

CLIFF DWELLINGS

Cliff Dwellings was originally inhabited by the Puebloans from 1200  B.C. to A.D. 1300. The McClurg family created a replica of the dwellings in 1904. This attraction has opened to the public in 1907.  This museum has exhibits of archaeological artifacts, tools, pottery, and weapons that were taken from Indigenous sites
